Your Questions about Burbank Softball Academy, Answered

  • We have a 12u & 14u team. We will have tryouts for our 10u team July 2026!

  • Our 12U and 14U teams maintain a consistent training schedule with 2–3 sessions per week. This includes a dedicated field practice, a focused hitting session, and additional practices as needed.

  • Our goal is to stay between 10-14 girls on our teams. Small Team = Better Team Culture.

  • Playing time is earned through consistent attendance and effort at practice. During friendlies and scrimmages, all players will get opportunities to play. In tournament pool play, we aim to rotate everybody in. However, in elimination games, we typically play the most competitive 9-10 players.

  • Our teams currently compete three weekends per month (2 friendly sets, 1 tournament) while we finalize our 12U and 14U rosters. We are looking to add a few more high-impact players to our program. Once these positions are filled, we will expand our schedule to include more high-level tournament play.

  • Our teams have been staying local in the Los Angeles / Orange County areas for all games.

  • Our 12U team’s focus is mastering fundamentals and mechanics, preparing them for the game day pace of the 14u game.

    Our 14U team’s focus is helping them learn situations on the field, mental resilience, and ensuring that they enter high school ready for competition.
